Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I book an appointment with Dr. Ocana?
Go to Click on appointments Choose your appointment type Choose your time Pay for your visit Voilá
  • Why can't I book more than 4 weeks in advance?
In order to avoid a waiting list, the appointments are first-come, first-serve. We open up a new week of appointments every Monday.
  • How long is the waiting list?
    4 weeks
  • How long will it take to get a form or letter completed by the doctor?
There are a number of letters in the queue at any one time. Please allow 2-3 weeks.
  • Why do I have to pay for forms? My other doctors do them for free.
A properly completed form requires a review of your chart, and then answering the questions, and then faxing, mailing or emailing the form, and all that takes time.
  • Why do I have to pay for my visit? Isn't this covered by MSP?
Unfortunately, MSP only pays for one 30 minute visit for assessments. Our assessments are 120 minutes and include diagnosis and treatment.
  • How do I refill my prescription?
You can book a visit to discuss your current treatment, progress and side effects. You can order a no-visit prescription refill, if nothing has changed, you just need a refill.
  • Why do I have to pay to get my prescription refilled?
Most doctors don't provide prescriptions without a visit. We understand that you are busy and we want to make refills easy. But even without a visit, reviewing your chart, writing the prescription and faxing it to your pharmacy takes time.
